CE Level 1 Versus CE Level 2 Armour Impact Ratings

Where a lot of riders can get confused is how CE ratings for armour.

Impact armor for use in motorcycle garments must undergo its own set of tests to determine whether it is CE Level 1 or CE Level 2 certified.

CE Level 1 armor has the maximum transmitted force threshold of 35 kN as compared to CE Level 2 with a  higher level of protection in terms of impact absorption and it means the armour has been tested and verified for a maximum transmitted force below 20 kN.

Perfect sizing and fit

Just received my velocity pants and very happy to report that the sizing is spot on. I ordered the size 38 same as in regular trousers and jeans that I wear and these were sized perfectly, with a little adjustment available on both ends, as required. Can't wait to get them out and dirty some time shortly. Thanks BGA!

Three years performance

When I chose the Velocity Jacket & Pants set, I was looking for a cost effective garment set, and this product delivers I have used it in all weathers , and never got wet, but found the jacket could do with more venting, so I removed the pocket linings from the side zips under the arms, that solved the airflow issue, also the lack of a Velocity black trousers in the range means only the fawn /fluoro is fortunately available. Great value for money.
